GIS warns public against fake recruitment portal

The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) has issued a warning.

They are alerting the public about a fraudulent recruitment scheme online.

This scheme is particularly linked to the website GOLERNERSHUB.COM.

The site falsely claims to open a protocol recruitment portal.

The GIS completely disassociates itself from these claims.

In a press release dated June 2, 2025, M. Amoako-Atta signed the statement.

He is the Assistant Commissioner of Immigration and Head of Public Affairs.

The GIS stated it has not authorized any recruitment exercises or sales of forms.

No individual, group, or third-party website has permission for this.

The Service emphasized that it has no government clearance for recruitment at this time.

They assured the public that legitimate recruitment will be communicated officially.

This will happen through credible platforms like national newspapers and official channels.

“Our Intelligence Section is working with state security agencies,” the statement said.

They are pursuing leads to identify and prosecute those behind this fraud.

The Service urged people to ignore communications from GOLERNERSHUB.COM and similar sources.

Engaging with such entities is at one’s own risk.
