GJA opens accreditation for Mahama’s January 7 swearing-in ceremony

The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Information, has announced the start of accreditation applications for media coverage of President-elect John Dramani Mahama's swearing-in ceremony at Independence Square on January 7, 2025.

In a press release dated December 23 and signed by General Secretary Kofi Yeboah, the GJA urged interested media houses, including foreign outlets, to submit staff details—name, media house, and a passport photo—to the GJA Secretariat via WhatsApp at 020 836 6615.

Applications must be in a Microsoft Word document, using Times New Roman font size 12, and submitted by 5:00 PM on December 26, 2024.
