GMA warns of thunderstorms in Accra, Ho and Northern Region

The Ghana Meteorological Agency has issued a weather alert.

Thunderstorms and varying rainfall are expected across the country. This is especially true for the northern and transition zones.

This morning, cloudy conditions will cover coastal and inland areas. Thunderstorms may occur, with or without rainfall.

By afternoon, most areas will see a mix of clouds and sunshine. However, thundery activities and rain are still likely in coastal, middle, and transition regions.

Residents in Accra, Ho, and parts of the northern regions should take precautions. The weather could cause localized flooding and disrupt outdoor activities.

The sea is described as rough. Fisherfolk and coastal dwellers are urged to be cautious.
