The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMET) has issued a weather forecast for today.

Expect a mix of conditions across the country. There will be partly cloudy skies, misty weather, and possible afternoon thunderstorms.

Most areas will start the day with partly cloudy skies. Coastal, forest, and mountainous regions may see mist in the morning. Cities like Takoradi, Axim, and Koforidua are included.

As the day goes on, sunny spells will appear with some clouds. However, localized thunderstorms or rain may develop later in the afternoon and evening.

Areas likely to experience these storms include:

- Koforidua, Akim Oda, Kumasi, and Goaso in the middle belt.
- Kintampo, Sunyani, and Techiman in the transition zone.
- Yendi, Damongo, Bole, and Wa in the north.

Temperatures will range from 24°C to 38°C today. The hottest areas will be in the northern sector.

Cities like Bolgatanga and Nalerigu could reach 38°C under sunny skies.

GMET advises farmers and outdoor workers to stay informed about weather changes. They should take precautions in areas expecting thunderstorms.
