The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has forecast partly cloudy weather today. High temperatures are expected across the country.
In its daily forecast, GMet mentioned early morning mist may form. This is likely in forested and hilly areas, especially in the south.
As the day continues, most regions will see sunny conditions. However, some areas in the middle belt and northern sector may have thunderstorms. These storms could occur with or without rain during late afternoon and evening.
Temperature readings show a hot day ahead. The northern sector may reach maximum temperatures of 41°C. Other regions are expected to have high temperatures as follows: transition zone at 37°C, forest zone at 36°C, and coastal areas at 34°C.
GMet advises the public to stay hydrated. They should take precautions against the heat, especially in northern and transitional areas where it will be hottest.
