The Commissioner General of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) visited the Director General of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA). He promised to collaborate on trade facilitation.

The visit aimed to strengthen the long-standing partnership between both institutions. The goal is to improve cargo clearance, facilitate trade, and boost revenue for Ghana.

Brigadier General Paul Seidu Tanye-Kulono, Director General of GPHA, emphasized collaboration. He stated it is crucial for reducing business costs at Ghana’s ports. This collaboration will make the country’s ports more attractive in West Africa.

He noted that effective functioning requires strong teamwork. They plan to explore new areas to increase national revenue. “We aim to lower business costs by reducing delays,” he said.

Mr. Anthony Sarpong, GRA Commissioner General, reaffirmed his commitment to working with GPHA. He believes this cooperation will enhance port operations and state revenue mobilization.
