GSS launches 2024 Statistical Year Overview

The Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) has introduced the 2024 Statistical Year Overview, providing a summary of key data publications from the year.

Unveiled on February 13, 2025, the report highlights economic, social, and demographic data, including GDP, Consumer and Producer Price Indices, and health statistics.

It offers stakeholders easier access to information through a new digital platform.

Government Statistician, Prof. Samuel Kobina Annim, emphasized GSS’s commitment to delivering high-quality statistics for better governance and development.

The service also extended its partnership with the UK’s Office for National Statistics (ONS) for another year.

This collaboration has led to improvements like automating CPI computation, enabling quicker inflation releases.

ONS’s Dr. James Tucker praised GSS for its impactful data contributions.
