GTDC unveils FPMS to transform services

The Ghana Tourism Development Company (GTDC) launched its Fleet Pool Management Service (FPMS) on Thursday. This initiative aims to improve transport services in the tourism sector. It is a public-private partnership with the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA). The Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and the Creative Arts supports this initiative.

Under FPMS, car owners and rental companies can register with GTDC. GTDC will use its marketing channels to rent out these cars for tourism purposes. The service aims to provide cost-effective, professional chauffeur-driven transport for tourist groups.

Additionally, FPMS serves as a centralized transport coordination platform. It brings together private car rental operators and garages under one regulated system.
