Customers in the Northern and Savannah regions owe the Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) GH¢45.5 million in unpaid water supply bills, according to Northern Area Manager Stephen Amihere Mensah.

This debt, attributed solely to domestic customers, includes over GH¢7 million in standpipe arrears.

In response, GWCL is launching a revenue mobilization exercise from November 1 to December 31, 2024, to recover these outstanding amounts.

Mensah emphasized the urgency of collecting these funds to ensure the company can continue paying its suppliers.
