GWL educates Odorgonno, Accra Girls SHS students on water conservation - Ghanaian Times

Students from Odorgonno and Accra Girls Senior High Schools visited the Weija Water Treatment Plant. This tour was part of activities for World Water Day 2025.

The tours were organized by the Accra West and Accra East Regions of Ghana Water Limited (GWL). They took place last Friday to celebrate this year's World Water Day. The global theme is “Glacier Preservation.” In Ghana, the theme focuses on “Water Conservation.”

The goal of the event is to raise awareness about the value of water. It also encourages students to advocate for water conservation.

This initiative is part of GWL's efforts to commemorate World Water Day 2025, celebrated annually on March 22.
