Gas Supply Resumes: GRIDCo and ECG restore power to affected areas

GRIDCo and the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) have successfully restored gas supply from the West African Gas Pipeline Company (WAPCO) to thermal power plants in Tema, resolving power outages caused by previous disruptions.

In a joint statement on December 13, 2024, the two organizations assured Ghanaians that all affected plants are now operational, ensuring stable electricity supply.
