Gender Minister and MASLOC CEO support Kumasi fire victims with GHS100k donation

The Minister for Gender, Children, and Social Protection, Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, visited fire victims in Kumasi. She was accompanied by Abigail Akwambea Elorm Mensah, the Acting CEO of MASLOC.

They toured the affected market area in Adum. Their goal was to assess the damage and meet with traders who lost their livelihoods.

After the tour, they held a meeting at the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council. They discussed further assistance for the victims during this engagement.

Dr. Lartey praised the victims for their patience and resilience. She also thanked them for cooperating with local authorities addressing their needs.

To provide immediate relief, Dr. Lartey and MASLOC donated GHS100,000 to support recovery efforts. This donation is part of the government's commitment to help small business owners affected by disasters regain financial stability.
