Former General Secretary John Boadu has made it clear that he will not consider returning to the role he once held in the New Patriotic Party.
Despite receiving multiple proposals to re-contest the General Secretary position, he feels he has already contributed significantly in that capacity.
Boadu cited the constant barrage of insults associated with the role as a major turn-off, stating that these criticisms have taken a toll.
Instead, he indicated his interest in assuming a different leadership role, suggesting that his experience would be better applied by guiding party executives in the position of National Chairman.
His decision reflects a desire to avoid the personal challenges of the past while continuing to serve the party through an advisory capacity and further his legacy.
