The Ghana Hajj Taskforce 2025 has sent a 17-member advance team to Saudi Arabia. This team will finalize preparations for this year’s pilgrimage.
Members include operational taskforce members, field officers, and medical personnel. IT specialists, documentation experts, welfare officers, and corporate affairs representatives are also included. Their goal is to complete all logistical and administrative arrangements before the pilgrims arrive.
The team will visit key sites in Mecca and Medina. They will assess accommodation, transportation, health facilities, and communication systems. This ensures a smooth experience for Ghanaian pilgrims.
The airlift of pilgrims from Ghana is set to begin on May 10, 2025. The Pilgrims’ Affairs Office of Ghana states that deploying the advance team shows the Taskforce's commitment. They aim to provide a well-coordinated and successful Hajj experience for all participants.
