Ghana Month: Joy FM takes listeners on tour to iconic sites in Volta Region 

Joy FM celebrated Ghana Month with a special tour to the Volta Region.

The three-day event, called ‘Volta Adventure’, ran from March 21 to March 23, 2025.

Participants visited several attractions, including Kpando Lakeview Zipline and Mount Gemi. They also explored Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary and Amedzofe Waterfalls. The group enjoyed the Canopy Walkway as well.

At the Volta Serene Hotel, guests participated in various activities. They showcased their dance skills while enjoying music from a borborbor ensemble. There were also nightclub sessions and movie nights for entertainment.

Before returning to Accra, they visited Dodi World at Akosombo. On the Dodi Princess II boat, they enjoyed live band music, food, and drinks.

The 'Volta Adventure' allowed tourists to network and bond with family and friends.

Edem Knight-Tay, Joy FM's Programmes Manager, said the trip promoted domestic tourism and culture. Joy FM organizes similar programs every year during Ghana Month.
