Ghana's Foreign Affairs Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, announced a new agreement.
Ghanaians traveling to Morocco will no longer need traditional visas.
Instead, they can get online travel authorization within 24 hours.
This process does not require embassy appointments.
Mr. Ablakwa shared this news in a Facebook post on June 6.
The agreement was finalized during his two-day visit to Morocco.
He discussed it with Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita.
With direct flights already available, more will be added soon.
This visa waiver policy aims to boost trade and tourism between the countries.
It also seeks to enhance connections among their people.
Mr. Ablakwa emphasized that this is part of a larger diplomatic vision.
He wants to transform African borders into “bridges of connectivity.”
His goal is for diplomacy to provide real benefits for citizens.
He concluded by sending Eid greetings to Muslims in Ghana.
