Bice Osei Kuffour, known as Obour, was the former Managing Director of Ghana Post. He recently reflected on his time at the postal service. He highlighted key initiatives aimed at improving employee welfare and service delivery.
In an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen, Obour said they introduced a transport allowance. This made the workers happy. He acknowledged that salaries were not perfect but appreciated their efforts.
Under his leadership, Ghana Post became more competitive. Improvements in the transportation network played a significant role in this change. “The post office is now more competitive than before,” he stated.
Obour also mentioned several initiatives to modernize the company. These efforts aimed to ensure long-term growth for Ghana Post.
“I believe I did well during my time at Ghana Post,” he remarked. He noted there has been massive growth and hopes it continues. If so, he believes the post office will become a great institution.
