The Ghana Publishing Company Limited (GPCL) is seeking a partnership with the Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service (GES). They aim to provide printing and publishing services tailored to Ghana's educational needs.
On April 2, Nana Kwasi Boatey, Ag. Managing Director of GPCL, met with Minister of Education Haruna Iddrisu. This meeting focused on how GPCL can support the Ministry’s education goals. The Minister praised GPCL for its 24-hour operations, aligning with the government's economy policy. He expressed his willingness to foster a partnership between GPCL and the Ministry.
GPCL is Ghana’s leading state-owned printing and publishing institution. It has over six decades of experience in producing official government publications. These include the Ghana Gazette, Acts of Parliament, and Parliamentary Hansard.
The company produces various educational materials like textbooks and exercise books. It also creates exam answer sheets and specialized learning tools, including “My 1st to 6th Copy Books.” GPCL holds exclusive rights for these copy books.
As the first state-owned company to implement the government’s 24-hour economy policy, GPCL operates around the clock. This ensures timely production and distribution of materials while contributing to economic growth.
Nana Kwasi Boatey expressed optimism about this collaboration. He hopes it will deliver high-quality educational materials and support national development goals. He reaffirmed GPCL’s commitment as a reliable partner for the Ministry of Education, GES, and all government agencies in Ghana.
