Ghana School Feeding contracts terminated nationwide

The Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP) has terminated all caterer contracts. This decision affects caterers across the country.

An official notice was issued on May 2, 2025. It stated that no current caterer should provide meals for the third term of the 2024/2025 academic year.

The notice read, "Contracts of all caterers have been terminated with immediate effect." It emphasized that existing caterers cannot cook for the upcoming term.

The GSFP assured affected caterers that payments for the second term will be made. "All outstanding arrears for the second term will be paid in due course," it added.

This decision is part of a larger restructuring effort. New recruitment guidelines will be shared soon.

The GSFP Secretariat plans to announce how new caterers will be recruited shortly.
