Ghana has launched a Visa-on-arrival policy from December 1, 2024, to January 15, 2025, allowing travelers to enter without pre-approval.
The move aims to boost tourism during the festive season and is part of the "December in GH" campaign under the broader "Beyond the Return" initiative.
The policy encourages visitors to explore Ghana's vibrant December festivities, cultural heritage, and dynamic events.
“This is a game-changer for traveler’s,” said Akwasi Agyeman, CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority.
To support the initiative, airlines have been instructed to update their systems for seamless travel. Travelers are urged to take advantage of the hassle-free process and explore Ghana’s rich offerings.
