Ghana can’t be a cocaine coast - CDM warns Mahama

The Centre for Democratic Movement (CDM) has issued a strong warning.

They say Ghana could be labeled a "Cocaine Coast."

This label may arise from allegations about suspicious international flights.

The CDM emphasized the need for swift and thorough action.

They cautioned that lax oversight could lead to serious consequences.

Increased scrutiny of Ghanaian travelers and exports may occur.

This could also result in a drop in investor confidence.

Ghana's reputation on the international stage is at risk.

The group stated, “Ghana must not become a corridor for narcotic trafficking.”

They urged the government to act decisively to protect national integrity.

The CDM called for full disclosure from the Civil Aviation Authority.

They also want transparency from the National Security Secretariat.

Additionally, they recommend that Parliament conduct an inquiry.

Support from international partners may be necessary for this process.
