President John Dramani Mahama celebrated Ghana’s religious harmony. He highlighted the peaceful coexistence of Christians, Muslims, and others.
At the Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations in Accra, he praised the nation. He noted that religious tolerance and unity are key to Ghana's identity.
“We have built a society where Christians and Muslims coexist peacefully,” President Mahama said. “We share in each other’s celebrations and support one another.”
He emphasized that this harmony is a blessing we should cherish. “This is a blessing we must never take for granted,” he stated.
The President quoted Prophet Muhammad on promoting peace. “The greatest among us are those who promote peace for others,” he added.
He urged Ghanaians to unite in times of need. We must be united by our shared values and goals.
He concluded by calling on all Ghanaians to uphold these principles. This will ensure the continued prosperity of our nation.
