President John Dramani Mahama has disclosed that his administration requires $1.7 billion to complete the unfinished Agenda 111 hospital projects initiated by the previous government.
Speaking at a meeting with the Christian Council, Mahama noted that nearly 90 hospitals under the initiative remain incomplete, with some commissioned facilities lacking essential equipment such as hospital beds.
He proposed a collaborative approach with religious bodies to expedite completion, suggesting that mission hospitals in affected areas could take over and manage some of the projects.
“If the missions are interested, they could complete and operate some of the hospitals,” he stated.
Mahama assured that his government remains committed to **fully completing the projects** to enhance healthcare delivery across the country.
