The Ghana Police Service has started a manhunt. This follows the shooting of two police officers in Upper East Region. The incident occurred at Poyamirea near Binduri on April 13.

The officers were in plain clothes. They were riding a private motorbike from Bongo to Binduri when ambushed. The attackers shot the officers and stole their motorbike.

The police expressed condolences to the families of the deceased. They assured the public that they are working hard to catch the attackers.

A police statement emphasized their commitment to justice. "We will arrest those responsible for this heinous crime," it said.
