Ghana ranks high in labour, utility services, business insolvency  - WB Report 2024 - Ghanaian Times

Ghana performed well in several areas in 2024. This is according to the World Bank Group Business Ready Report 2024.

The report highlights Ghana's achievements in labour, utility services, and business insolvency. The country has good practices for resolving labour disputes. It also provides transparent information on water and electricity services.

Additionally, Ghana has implemented electronic case management systems for liquidation. However, the report notes some challenges.

Ghana scored low in market competition and business entry. It also struggled with dispute resolution and digitalisation of intellectual property services.

Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, the Minister of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, spoke at the report launch. She emphasized the government's commitment to improving Ghana’s business environment. This will be done through a strong regulatory framework.
