Ghana took an early 2-0 lead with goals from Gertrude Amoafo (14') and Priscilla Mensah (19'). However, Nigeria’s Flamingos fought back, equalizing 2-2, leading to a tense penalty shootout. Ghana held their nerve, winning 5-4 in the shootout.
