The Minister of Energy and Green Transition, Mr. John Abdulai Jinapor, spoke about Ghana's commitment to the West African Gas Pipeline (WAGP). He emphasized collaboration with all WAGP stakeholders. This partnership aims to create a favorable environment for pipeline expansion.
The WAGP Project seeks to enhance energy competitiveness in Ghana, Benin, and Togo. It promotes the use of cheaper and cleaner gas from Nigeria. Mr. Jinapor made these remarks at the WAGP Project Committee of Ministers meeting in Accra.
He highlighted the importance of collaboration among stakeholders. The West African Gas Pipeline plays a crucial role in supplying gas to thermal plants in the region.
