To understand the impact of these tariffs, the ministry plans to meet with the US ambassador on April 7, 2025.
On April 5, 2025, Ghana's Trade Ministry released a statement. It said they are urgently engaging stakeholders to assess the effects of US tariffs.
They aim to determine how these tariffs will impact Ghana’s economy. Additionally, various strategies are being considered to mitigate immediate effects on trade.
