The focus will be on artificial intelligence and digitalisation in workplace safety. It will take place at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City starting at 9:00 AM. The theme is “Revolutionising Health and Safety: The Role of AI and Digitalisation at Work.”
SHEQPA-GH announced this on Thursday, April 17. They aim to create a platform for practitioners, policymakers, and industry stakeholders. The goal is to discuss how technology impacts workplace health and safety in Ghana.
Key highlights include a keynote address by Chief Inspector of Mines Richard Kofi Adjei. There will also be technical presentations by Dr. Koduah Dapaah and Desmond Boahen, Deputy Chief Inspector of Mines for Technical Services & Explosives.
A panel discussion will feature experienced General Managers from various sectors. They will share insights on integrating technology into existing safety protocols. Additionally, there will be exhibitions showcasing innovations like AI-powered safety monitoring systems.
SHEQPA-GH calls this event a timely response to the need for industries in Ghana to meet international safety standards through digital transformation. They encourage participation from stakeholders in mining, construction, manufacturing, logistics, energy, and public sectors.
