Ghanaian Council of Chiefs in Holland, UnityLink give Otumfuo’s Heal Komfo Anokye Project $11,000

The Ghanaian Council of Chiefs in the Netherlands has made a donation. They collaborated with UnityLink and the Ghanaian community. Together, they donated $11,000 to support the “Heal Komfo Anokye” project. This health initiative is led by Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

The donation was presented at Manhyia Palace. This occurred during the Awukudae festival on Tuesday, May 7.

Harry Ouedraogo is the CEO of UnityLink Group. He presented the cheque to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. He expressed UnityLink’s commitment to renovating Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).

“We are proud to support this noble cause,” Mr. Ouedraogo said. He emphasized their desire for long-term collaboration with the palace.

UnityLink aims to enhance contributions to the Heal Komfo Anokye initiative. They encourage diaspora members to support this project as well.

Mr. Ouedraogo also sent belated birthday wishes to the Asantehene. He appreciated being granted an audience during the ceremony.

He looks forward to discussing further support with the King privately. The “Heal Komfo Anokye” project aims to upgrade KATH, which is nearly 70 years old.

This renovation will improve healthcare services for millions in Ghana and West Africa. The total cost of the project is estimated at $10 million.
