Ghanaian students in Hungary are facing serious issues. They are owed 11 months of overdue allowances. This includes stipends and book allowances for two academic years.
The students have tried to contact the Ghana Scholarships Secretariat. Unfortunately, their efforts have not been successful.
On April 21st, they released a statement expressing their distress. They said, “This chronic financial neglect has created a crisis.” It affects their education, well-being, and future opportunities.
Student leaders have sought help from government officials. However, these attempts have not led to any solutions. Many students are now struggling with severe hardships.
They are urgently asking the government for assistance. They hope that the government will respond quickly to their plea. The students want action before more problems arise.
