Ghanaian elected Vice President of Middle Temple Young Barristers’ Association of England and Wales

Master Silas Boateng has been elected Vice President of the Middle Temple Young Barristers’ Association.

In this role, he will represent young barristers in England and Wales. He was elected on March 26, 2025, defeating three British candidates. His victory shows his dedication and leadership in the legal profession.

Silas was born in Ghana. He completed his LLB at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) in 2020. He then studied for the Bar course at the University of Law in the UK. Silas was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2022.

He joined the Honourable Society of Middle Temple in 2021. Middle Temple is one of four Inns of Court in the UK. It has the exclusive right to call students to the Bar.

In 2022, Silas made history as the first person of color elected Debate Officer of the Middle Temple Students’ Association.
