Ghanaian medical entrepreneur Dr. William Anarfi Sarpong has filed a defamation lawsuit against US-based Ghanaian journalist Kevin Taylor and his media outlet, Loud Silence Media.
The lawsuit, filed at the Accra High Court, follows allegations made by Taylor in a Facebook Live broadcast between February 26 and 28, 2025. Taylor reportedly accused Dr. Anarfi of fraudulent activities and improper dealings with the Ghanaian government—claims the medical entrepreneur has strongly denied.
Dr. Anarfi, owner of Spintex Medical Center, is seeking damages, arguing that Taylor’s statements were “malicious fabrications” aimed at tarnishing his reputation. His legal team, Gomdah & Associates, also cited concerns over the journalist publicly displaying personal details of Dr. Anarfi’s family members.
The court has ordered Kevin Taylor and Loud Silence Media to respond within eight days or face a default judgment. Neither Taylor nor his representatives have publicly addressed the lawsuit.
