Janet Asana Nabla, former General Secretary of the PNC, criticized Ghana’s judiciary. She accused judges of acting like politicians instead of impartial judges.
In an interview with Kwaku Owusu Adjei on Original TV, she expressed her disappointment. She believes the justice system is heavily politicized. This situation undermines public trust and weakens the rule of law.
Nabla stated, “When you go to court in Ghana, you won’t get justice.” She feels judges are behaving more like politicians now.
Due to her disillusionment with the courts, she prefers traditional rulers for resolving disputes. She believes they provide fairer arbitration than the formal judicial system.
