North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has revealed further details about ongoing legal disputes involving Ghanaian courts and land ownership.
In a TV3 interview, Ablakwa disclosed that 13 bungalows for judges, opposite the American Embassy, have been demolished by private developers claiming ownership. Judges sought injunctions from fellow judges for protection.
The Judicial Service of Ghana is suing the Lands Commission, Frames Oil Company Limited, and the Attorney General.
Ablakwa criticized the Local Government Minister’s helplessness and accused the government of selling state properties.
