Ghanaians Should Forgive NPP –Bawumia

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the NPP's flagbearer for the 2024 elections. He recently asked Ghanaians to forgive the previous administration's mistakes.

During the NPP’s Thank You Tour in Ahafo Region, he acknowledged past errors. He emphasized that accountability and reflection are vital in governance.

Bawumia expressed gratitude for the support received over the years. He promised to regain the people's trust if given another chance.

“This tour is not just a celebration,” he said. “It’s a moment of sober reflection.” He assured that they have listened to concerns and want to move forward together.

He encouraged Ghanaians not to lose hope in the NPP’s vision. Bawumia highlighted achievements in digitalisation, infrastructure, and economic stability. Despite challenges, he believes significant progress has been made.

“We will not make excuses,” he stated firmly. Instead, they will correct past lapses and improve governance.

Bawumia called the upcoming 2028 election crucial for Ghana’s democracy. He urged continued faith in the NPP's mission moving forward.

“Let us move forward with renewed purpose,” he said. He stressed serving every Ghanaian with humility and dedication.

He assured Ghanaians their concerns will guide future actions. “You have spoken, and we have heard you clearly,” he noted.

Bawumia reiterated their commitment to learning from experiences to strengthen policies. He thanked Goaso residents and all Ghanaians for their support and feedback.

“We appreciate your trust, criticisms, and encouragement,” he added. These insights are invaluable as they chart a new path for both the NPP and Ghana.

The Thank You Tour aims to reconnect with grassroots supporters as well as express appreciation. Bawumia also called for unity within the party during this time.

“Let us work together to build our desired Ghana,” he urged supporters. Together, they can overcome challenges and seize opportunities ahead.
