Ghanaians will soon reward your contributions to the nation's development - Yaa Naa to Bawumia

The overlord of Dagbon, Ndan Yaa Naa Abukari II, praised former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. He assured Dr. Bawumia that his contributions to Ghana will be recognized soon.

During the NPP's Thank You Tour in the Northern Region, the Yaa Naa welcomed Dr. Bawumia to the Gbewaa Palace in Yendi. He encouraged him not to be discouraged by his recent electoral defeat. The Yaa Naa emphasized that Dr. Bawumia's record as Vice President will earn future support from Ghanaians.

"We recognize your contributions to Ghana's development," said the Yaa Naa. He highlighted Dr. Bawumia's work in digitalization and economic modernization during his tenure.

"As Vice President, you contributed more than most predecessors," he added. "You led transformative projects like Ghana's digital addressing system and mobile money interoperability." The Yaa Naa noted that Ghanaians appreciate these efforts.

He urged Dr. Bawumia to remain hopeful for the future. "Your electoral loss is a battle lost, but not the war," he said. The Yaa Naa encouraged him to keep caring for the country and not lose hope.

"This is just your first attempt; there are more chances ahead," he stated. He wished for good health and long life for Dr. Bawumia, praying for guidance in all his endeavors.

Dr. Bawumia and the NPP have been on a nationwide Thank You Tour for two weeks now. They aim to thank party supporters and Ghanaians for their backing, regardless of the 2024 election outcome.
