Go to EC offices and demonstrate on September 17 – Mahama charges NDC supporters

John Mahama, flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has confirmed a nationwide protest on September 17, 2024.

The demonstration aims to pressure the Electoral Commission (EC) to audit the voter register ahead of the December elections.

Speaking to supporters in Sampa, Bono Region, Mahama stressed the need for a clean voter register to ensure free and fair elections.

He urged NDC members to participate in the protest and accused the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of worsening Ghana's economic hardships.

Mahama also promised to prioritize road development if elected.
