“God has a plan for me for better things in the future” – Bawumia says in New Year message

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia delivered an uplifting New Year message during the 31st Watch Night service at Lighthouse Chapel International, encouraging Ghanaians to embrace hope and gratitude in 2025.

Attending with his wife, Samira Bawumia, and senior NPP officials, Dr. Bawumia thanked God for the peaceful 2024 elections and emphasized a spirit of thanksgiving, citing Thessalonians 5:18.

He also praised Bishop Dag Heward-Mills for his contributions to the church and nation.

Reflecting on his journey, the NPP flagbearer expressed faith in God’s plans for a brighter future. He concluded by wishing Ghanaians a prosperous New Year, reaffirming hope for unity and progress in the coming year.
