Chairman Wontumi Meets CID After Botched Raid

Bernard Antwi Boasiako, known as Chairman Wontumi, met with the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) in Accra.

He was questioned at the Police Headquarters. His legal team is led by former Attorney General Godfred Dame.

Wontumi was also accompanied by Andy Appiah-Kubi, a former MP.

The reason for his questioning remains unclear.

On May 23, a team of National Security operatives and police officers raided his residence.

Boasiako’s legal team plans to address the media after their meeting with the CID.
