Godfred Dame should get a Roman Father and confess – Tameklo

Godwin Edudzi Tameklo, the Acting CEO of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), criticized Attorney General Godfred Yeboah Dame. He accused Dame of trying to imprison Minority Leader Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson.

In an interview on TV3’s KeyPoints, Tameklo stated, “If he’s a Catholic, Godfred Dame should confess and seek forgiveness.” He claimed that Dame created a legal scheme to jail Ato Forson without regard for the facts.

Tameklo expressed concern about the politicization of the justice system. He emphasized that legal representation should be fair and ethical, not politically biased.

“I don’t care if you are NDC or NPP,” he said. “We must provide representation to anyone as long as it follows the rules.”

He distinguished between legitimate prosecution and political persecution. “Prosecution is a public service; persecution is different,” he noted.

Tameklo believed that Dr. Forson’s case crossed into something more troubling. He argued that prosecutors should not seek convictions at all costs.

“Follow ethical rules, present your case, and let the judge decide,” he concluded.
