Gold Coast Customers threaten nationwide protests if govt fails to honour promise

The Aggrieved Gold Coast Customers have warned of nationwide protests if Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam fails to meet his promise to release their locked-up funds in August.

The group had suspended a planned protest on August 5 after discussions with the minister led to this commitment.

Charles Nyame, the group's convenor, emphasized that this is the second timeline given by the government and the final chance for compliance.

If the funds are not released as promised, the group plans to launch sustained demonstrations until all their monies are paid.
