Gov’t reduces health training application fee to GHC 150

Prospective students in Ghana will pay less for health training application forms this year. The Ministry of Health announced a significant cost reduction.

The price of application forms has dropped from GHS 200.00 to GHS 150.00. This change aims to improve access and affordability for applicants nationwide.

Application forms for the 2025/2026 academic year will be available starting Tuesday, April 22, 2025. Sales will end on Thursday, June 19, 2025. The Ministry promises to publish more details soon.

The Minister advised applicants to be careful about where they buy forms. Only GCB Bank PLC and Agriculture Development Bank are authorized sellers.

This initiative is part of the Ministry’s strategy to make health education more accessible. It particularly targets youth from underserved communities.
