All six vehicles seized from Lord Oblitey Commey, former Director of Operations at the Jubilee House, have been returned within 24 hours following high-level government intervention.

Sources within National Security confirmed that senior officials were displeased with the manner in which the midnight raid was conducted by individuals in civilian and military attire.

The vehicles, taken in what has been described as a “Rambo-style” operation on January 31, were back in Mr. Commey’s possession by February 1.

Expressing gratitude, he acknowledged the role of top government members in securing their release.

The swift action suggests an effort by the government to disassociate itself from the controversial incident.

Commey remains a key figure in the NPP, having served in various leadership roles.
