The Ministry of Employment has provided 16 Public Employment Centres (PECs) across Ghana with Toyota Hilux pickups and a 32-seater minibus to enhance their operations.
The PECs, part of the Ghana Jobs and Skills Project, aim to connect job seekers and employers while addressing skill gaps.
Four centres have already received their vehicles, with the rest set for distribution soon.
Employment Minister Ignatius Baffour Awuah said PECs also operate an online platform, www.glmis.gov.gh, making job services more accessible.
The initiative is part of broader government efforts, including providing motorbikes last year, to improve employment services and regulatory work nationwide.
Labour officials pledged to ensure the resources are effectively used.
