Government is keen on fighting corruption -Deputy Chief of Staff

Nana Oye Bampoe Addo is the Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of Administration. She reaffirmed the government's commitment to anti-corruption efforts. This commitment aligns with the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC).

To support this goal, the government will create a State Assets Registry. This registry will help protect state assets. Additionally, there will be an inquiry into looted state lands.

The government plans to conduct a forensic audit related to the National Cathedral scandal. They also aim to enact the Conduct of Public Officers Bill into law.

Addo spoke at the launch of the Final Evaluation Report for the National Anti-Corruption Action Plan (NACAP). The event took place in Accra on Friday.
