Govt committed to improving road infrastructure - Greater Accra Regional Minister

The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Mrs. Linda Obenewaa Akweley Ocloo, has reaffirmed the government's commitment to improving roads in Accra.

This statement came after an appeal from Mr. Love Alister, an Assembly member at the Ga West Municipal Assembly. He raised concerns about poor road infrastructure in the municipality.

“Fixing our roads and addressing infrastructure issues in Accra are top priorities,” she said. The minister emphasized this during the confirmation of Mr. John Desmond Sowah Nai as the Presidential Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) nominee for Okaikwei North.

The confirmation event took place in Accra on Wednesday.
