The Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment has inaugurated a new Board of Directors for the National Youth Authority (NYA). Julian M. Cobbinah is appointed as the Chairman.
The swearing-in ceremony occurred on Tuesday, May 6, at the Ministry’s headquarters. It was a brief but significant event.
After the ceremony, Minister George Opare Addo congratulated the new board on Facebook. He wrote, “Congratulations to the newly formed Board of the National Youth Authority.”
He expressed confidence in their ability to lead with integrity and dedication. The Minister urged board members to commit fully to their mandate.
Their responsibilities include promoting youth empowerment initiatives across Ghana. He stated, “I have no doubt that they will succeed.”
Julian M. Cobbinah also shared his gratitude on Facebook after his appointment. He thanked President John Dramani Mahama and Minister George Opare Addo for their support.
Cobbinah expressed his commitment to driving change moving forward. He wrote, “Honoured to be sworn in today as Chairperson of the Governing Board.”
He aims to make this period transformative for Ghana’s youth alongside CEO Osman Ayariga and his team.
