Govt settles arrears of school feeding caterers for 2024/2025 academic year

The government has paid the 31 days of arrears to caterers. This payment is for the Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP) during the First Term of the 2024/2025 academic year.

The School Feeding Programme Secretariat thanked the government for timely funding. A statement was signed on April 9 by Hajia Fati Forgor, the National Coordinator. She also expressed gratitude to donor partners for their ongoing support.

The School Feeding Secretariat is restructuring the programme. This aims to decentralize operations and improve food quality. It will also ensure consistent payments to caterers.
