Group accuses IGP of looking on unconcern as Speaker's life is threatened

The Concerned Youth of Nadowli-Kaleo have criticized the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akufo Dampare, for not acting on threats made against Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin.

The group claims that despite submitting a petition in October regarding a viral video that threatened Bagbin’s life, no action has been taken.

They accused the IGP of neglecting the case, suggesting it may be politically motivated.

The youth group has called on the Minister for the Interior and the IGP to address the issue, ensure Bagbin's safety, and prosecute the individual behind the threat.

They vowed to continue advocating for the Speaker's protection.
